About This Event

Canadian Opera Company (COC) Music Director, Johannes Debus, made his debuts with the San Diego Symphony and Komische Oper Berlin (Le nozze di Figaro), and performed with the Frankfurt Opera (The Cunning Little Vixen) and at the Blossom Festival with the Cleveland Orchestra. With the COC, he has conducted the world premiere of Canadian John Frederick Lampe’s Pyramus and Thisbe, Wagner’s Siegfried, and Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro.

The Royal Conservatory Orchestra (RCO), part of the Temerty Orchestral Program, is widely regarded as an outstanding ensemble and one of the best training orchestras in North America. It consists of instrumental students in the Performance Diploma Program and Artist Diploma Program of The Glenn Gould School. Graduates of the RCO have joined the ranks of the greatest orchestras in the world.
