About This Event
Maestro Tito Muñoz conducts the RCO and pianist Charissa Vandikas in a program of John Adams’s The Chairman Dances, Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G Major, and Brahms’s Symphony No. 2. Music Director of The Phoenix Symphony, Tito Muñoz is increasingly recognized as one of the most gifted and versatile conductors of his generation. He has served as music director of the Opéra national de Lorraine and the Orchestre symphonique et lyrique de Nancy in France.
The Royal Conservatory Orchestra (RCO), widely regarded as an outstanding ensemble and one of the best training orchestras in North America, consists of instrumental students in the Performance Diploma Program and Artist Diploma Program of The Glenn Gould School. Graduates of the RCO have joined the ranks of the greatest orchestras in the world.
