Hailed as "a pianistic sensation" (Rhein-Zeitung, Germany), David Louie ranks among the foremost Canadian musicians of his generation. As a soloist, Mr. Louie has appeared with numerous orchestras including the Vancouver Symphony, National Arts Centre Orchestra of Canada, Gulbenkian Chamber Orchestra of Lisbon, and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London. An accomplished chamber musician, David Louie is a member of ARC and has recorded for RCA Red Seal. Equally comfortable performing on harpsichord, this special all Bach program will feature the Goldberg Variations as well as Ricercar a 3 in c minor and Mr. Louie's own transcription of the Partita No. 2 BWV 1004 for solo violin.
