The Canadian Chopin Festival 2010 will culminate with The Gala Winners Concert on Sunday March 7 at 2pm, featuring the top prize winners of the Third Canadian Chopin Piano Competition performing works by Chopin.
The Canadian Chopin Festival held at the John Paul II Polish Cultural Centre in Mississauga from February 26 to March 7, 2010 will be one of the most significant events commemorating the anniversary of the birth of Frederyk Chopin.
The Festival will include the Third Canadian Chopin Piano Competition offering performance opportunities for young Canadian pianists and enabling the top winners to compete in the 16th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland.
The Gala Winners Concert in Koerner Hall will highlight First, Second and Third prize winners of both Junior and Senior divisions performing works by Chopin.
