In accordance with the Ontarians with Disabilities Act (ODA, 2001) and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA, 2005), the Royal Conservatory has developed a policy to ensure persons with disabilities have equal access to programs, services, and activities that we offer at the TELUS Centre for Performance and Learning.
Documents and policies under the Customer Service Standard are available to the public by requesting them by email firstname.lastname@example.org or by phoning 416-408-0208.
Accessible features of our building
The new TELUS Centre for Performance and Learning has been designed to be accessible to people accompanied by small children as well as people with disabilities.
Two elevators provide convenient access to all areas of the building
Barrier-free washrooms are located in every public area of the building
Two of the building's three entrances are accessible by wheelchairs and strollers:
• the Bloor Street entrance on the west side of the building
• the Philosopher’s Walk entrance on the east side of the building
The Weston Family Box Office
A low ticket counter makes it easier for persons who use wheelchairs to communicate with our customer service agents and view brochures.
The patron seating can accommodate 8 persons seated in wheelchairs. In addition, several rows can be removed to provide extra spaces. The Koerner Hall sound recording room, lighting control room, announcer and observation rooms, stage, backstage, and projection room are barrier free.
Mazzoleni Concert Hall in Ihnatowycz Hall
The patron seating can accommodate 2 persons seated in wheelchairs in the first row. In addition, the seats in the first and second rows can be removed to provide extra spaces.
This venue has flexible seating and can accommodate unlimited persons seated in wheelchairs up to capacity.

Assistive listening devices
Listening devices are available on loan for any Koerner Hall presentation. Devices are loaned on a first-come-first-served basis. To reserve, please contact the box office prior to the concert or speak to any of of our Front of House staff members on concert night.
