Accessibility

The Royal Conservatory is committed to making our facilities as accessible as possible to people with disabilities.

The new TELUS Centre for Performance and Learning has been designed to be accessible to people accompanied by small children as well as people with disabilities. Elevators provide convenient access to all areas of the building and barrier-free washrooms are located in every public area of the building.

Entrances

Two of the building's three entrances will be accessible by wheelchairs and strollers:

  • The Bloor Street entrance on the west side of the building
  • The Philosopher’s Walk entrance on the east side of the building

Koerner Hall
There are 9 spaces are available for wheelchairs. In addition, the Koerner Hall sound recording room, lighting control room, announcer and observation rooms, stage, backstage and projection room are barrier-free.

Mazzoleni Hall
Spaces are available for two wheelchairs in the first row of seats in this venue. In addition, the seats in the first and second rows can be removed to provide more room for additional wheelchairs.

Conservatory Theatre
This venue has flexible seating and is fully wheelchair accessible.

Box Office
The ticket counter is at two heights to accommodate people in wheelchairs.
